Northwest Indians Makah tribe
The
Makah Indians were one of the lucky tribes because the Makah was local to
forests so they had lots of wood for resources, unlike the Southwest region
which had some wood. The Makah Indians were also big in trading with their
canoes to travel places because they live on the coast. Their flag is white and
red with a thunder bird in the center. The Makah Tribe would play many games for fun. For instance, they loved to play guessing
games. The Makah Indians spoke a
mysterious language called the “Makah language”. To this very day only 25% know
the language.
